Her music degrees are from California State U. Fullerton, and the University of North Texas College of Music, with extension work in archaeology and poetry and military service during the Persian Gulf War. She currently operates her studio in the North Texas metroplex. This 7-time consecutive recipient of the ASCAP Standard Award in Composition is a composer member of the American Music Center with an active commissions roster. She holds many societal affiliations and appointments including peer-review boards, and an appointment to the National Advisory Committee for Composition for the College Music Society, among others. Her composition catalog lists over 70 published works through Buckthorn Music Press (an ASCAP World Member Publisher and elected member of the Music Publishers' Assoc. of the US) with more than 40 manuscripts still in draft or manuscript. Dr. Job is scheduled for several concert music premieres & broadcasts in Europe and the U.S. this next year. Her music broadcasts on college and NPR-affiliate stations around the U.S.. Among many past honors, she attended a 4-day festival of her works "Jubilantly Job! Music Festival" at the U. of Central Oklahoma, February 7-10, 2003, with community, faculty, students & clinicians from both coasts. She is the subject of numerous printed interviews and articles.
